Important steps for your Canada Plan.

THE YEAR HAS STARTED AND IS YOUR DESIRE TO IMMIGRATE STILL ACTIVE?

So check out BFF CANADA's tips to help you start your plan and turn your dream into reality.

First, it is important to know the difference between a plan and a strategy.

In general, the strategy is the “how”. How you will reach your goal varies from person to person. For example: “My strategy is to get to Canada through studies. I’m going to study and my spouse is going to work, in city X.”

action plan It will contain all the steps to get you where you want. It's your detailed guide, with all the tasks you need to do to achieve your goals. It can be defined and viewed in a spreadsheet with tasks, deadlines, costs, etc. Examples of actions: studying English to reach level x, saving money, finishing your bachelor's degree, selling your car, taking the IELTS test, etc.

IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE “HOW”, YOU CANNOT START YOUR ACTION PLAN.

“And how do I know the best strategy for me?”

1 – Researching, reading and doing everything alone.
2 – Hiring a consultancy/advisory such as BFF CANADA.

DO NOT SKIP STEPS.

Some people are worried about the visa or looking for housing, before even defining how they will get here, before studying the language, having the necessary funds and before taking the basic steps of a plan to study and immigrate. The Canada Plan must follow a logic and timeline according to its objectives, its budget, profile and the date it intends to arrive in the country.

1. FIND OUT WHAT YOUR IMMIGRATION STRATEGY IS. Planning only begins after the strategy has been defined, the way in which you will achieve the immigration you dream of. There are so many paths! There are more than 80 ways to immigrate, whether via studies, work or immigration programs. The city where you will live or study is also one of the items in the strategy, since each province has its own rules and each city has its own job market, lifestyle and climate. The strategy will also define your budget, how much you will have to invest. If you are undecided or lost about the best strategy for you and your family, we can help you.

2. PUT EVERYTHING ON PAPER. Once you have defined your strategy and the city where you will live, turn this into a very practical action plan (the guide we talked about above). Make a spreadsheet with tasks, deadlines and investments. The financial plan is one of the most important things.

3. NEVER FORGET THE LANGUAGE. Without it, it won't work. So, parallel to whatever action you are taking, study. There are several online courses and we have partnerships with several excellent English schools, whether for General English or Pathway (Academic English). How about starting your English course in Brazil? We have several online courses that can prepare you for Canada.

4. CONTENT IS DIFFERENT FROM CONSULTING. Today there is no shortage of information. And that's great! Just be aware that Instagram posts, videos and groups will not analyze your case or personalize anything for you. They are generic and often do not fit your reality. What works for one person may not work for another. So use the internet wisely and cautiously and if you need something personalized and professional, talk to us, 😉

It will be a pleasure to help you get here successfully.

Hugs,
