Immigration consultation – Terms and conditions

YOUINITIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE IMMIGRATION CONSULTATION (CLICK HERE FOR ENGLISH)

This agreement establishes the terms and conditions of a video call initial consultation with one of our regulated Canadian immigration consultants, who we partner with. 

Duration of video call: up to 1 hour.

  • After the consultation, some questions may be answered via email.
  • Time not used during the consultation cannot be used as credit for the client.
  • The client is responsible for taking notes.
  • This consultation does not include document review services, visas or guidance on filling out forms.
  • This consultation does not include consultancy services for study plans in Canada.
  • We do not authorize the recording of the consultation.
  • The consultation can only involve the participation of the client who scheduled the consultation and their immediate family members, which includes spouse, common-law partner and children only. Thus, other relatives such as brothers and sisters, cousins, uncles, friends, etc. will not be able to participate.
  • By scheduling the consultation, the client agrees to provide only truthful information.

1. Purpose of the Consultation: The purpose of the initial consultation is to BFF Canada and the consultants we represent:

– Understand your profile and your immigration objectives based on the information you will provide us, which may include one or more aspects of the Canadian immigration process and related procedures;

– To help you determine your path of future actions, if any;

– To answer your questions related to Canadian immigration laws and regulations to the best of our ability;

– Identify your options for Canadian immigration and, as far as possible, analyze the pros and cons of these alternatives;

– Determine next steps in the process, as appropriate. All information provided during the consultation is based on the experience of the consultants who BFF Canada represents and the current laws and regulations in force, which may be changed at any time and without prior notice after consultation.

Any advice will be focused solely on the client's immediate family, if applicable. The client's immediate family includes the spouse or partner and minor children. Other family members or friends are not included in the consultation.

All information and documents you provide to us will remain strictly confidential.

ATTENTION: The consultation does not include the review of any documents and is not a technical consultation. 2. Legal Authority: You agree and understand that booking a consultation does not establish a commitment for us to act as your Authorized Representative in relation to any matters relating to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada and/or the Canada Border Services Agency.

3. Cost and duration: The price (according to what is described in the product, on our website) includes an online consultation with our immigration consultant partner. The value is displayed in Canadian dollars (plus applicable taxes and fees) and the consultation lasts up to 1 (one) hour.

4. Cancellation and Refunds:

In exchange for scheduling an immigration consultation with one of our consultants, you agree to pay our consultation fee non refundable in accordance with the terms and conditions set out above. Cancellation requests must be made via email contato@bffcanada.com. For cancellations up to 5 business days in advance, we will refund the consultation fee plus taxes applicable to the credit card you provided, minus applicable bank/transfer fees and our administrative fees. For cancellations requested less than 5 business days in advance, we will keep 50% of the consultation fee to cover administrative and professional expenses related to reservation availability. In case of failure to attend the appointment, there will be no refund, regardless of the reason. You can reschedule your appointment at least 3 business days in advance without penalty. In case of cancellation by BFF Canada, your appointment will be rescheduled for the closest available time. In case of delays on the part of the client, the consultation will be carried out during the remaining time of the previously scheduled time.

5. Consent: By paying the consultation fee, you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Initial Consultation Agreement and acknowledge that any subsequent engagement of BFF Canada Immigration Services and one of its immigration consultants will require an additional written agreement with terms many different.

We provide consultancy service on all federal and provincial immigration programs, except Quebec.

We inform you that immigration consultants who partner with BFF Canada are members of the “Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council” and, as such, are governed by its statutes, professional code of ethics and regulations.

These terms and conditions will be governed by the laws in force in the Province of British Columbia, Canada, where our office is based.
