Can anyone immigrate to Canada?

Canada is a country open to immigration, however, it needs qualified professionals and people who fit the requirements of its various immigration programs. If you are not qualified for this, you can try to qualify and work on all the points you need. So, if you want to live here, there are two ways: study all the content available on the internet, make your plan and process yourself or hire a company to help you on this journey, like BFF Canada. We have everything you need to get here. We can advise you from your initial plan until your arrival.

Is it true that taking a higher education course in Canada opens the doors to immigration?
Yes. Every year, thousands of international students from all over the world come to Canada to study at colleges or universities. Around 60% of students want to stay in the country after graduating and Canada offers several paths to do so.

Is it possible to work while studying?
Yes, higher education students (more than 8 months at colleges or universities) can work up to 20 hours a week.

I have a spouse and young children. If I take a higher education course in Canada, can they come with me?
As a student applying to a higher education course, your spouse can work full time and children (over 5 years old) can attend public school free of charge. But to have all these benefits guaranteed, your study program must be at a public college or you must take a bachelor's degree, specialization (postgraduate) or master's degree. We can advise you on this and indicate the best educational path for you and your family.

Does studying English in Canada give you the right to work?
No. Studying only languages does not give you the right to work in the country.

How much does it cost to study higher education in Canada?
It depends on the course and institution chosen. This varies a lot, but you can check out a text about financial planning here and get an idea of how much this project costs.

Is there an age limit to study in Canada?
In general rules, no. Even people over 40 can study in Canada. We have clients of various ages, from 18 to 55 years old, who studied here and upon graduating, decided to stay and are now working in their fields.

How can I take a higher education course if I don't yet have the necessary level of English?
We have partnerships with several English schools across Canada. Depending on your level of English and the level required by the proficiency test of the educational institution and the chosen course, we can recommend a language study plan. There is a very good option, which is an academic English course popularly known as “Pathway”, which prepares the student for entry to university/college, without having to pass proficiency tests (such as IELTS, TOEFL, etc.). And this course can also be taken online, from Brazil, if you wish. If you don't want to invest in a course like this, you can study English and then take the required proficiency test to achieve the necessary grade and be accepted at the college/university.

How to stay in Canada after studies?

What most attracts Brazilians and many other international students to study programs at public colleges or universities is eligibility for PGWP – Post-graduation work permit, which is a work permit that international students can apply for after completing their studies in Canada to stay in the country for longer (1 to 3 years longer), working full-time. This means that students who wish to stay in the country will have more time to advance their immigration plan.

Can I just study in Canada and return to Brazil?

Clear. Many people come to do an exchange in the country, be it college, postgraduate, high school (high school) or an English course, everything can boost your CV and your career when you return. We have several exchange options and also high school.

Do you also do study permits? If I buy the course from you, will I have assistance at every stage?

Yes. If you wish, we can advise you on all stages of your plan until your arrival in Canada, including visas. We have services and values for each stage. If you have already enrolled at a Canadian college or university, even if it was not done by us, we can apply for your study permit as well. Send an email to contato@bffcanada.com.

What if I want to immigrate to Canada without having to study?
Canada has several immigration categories and programs and some people fit the requirements. Each of them requires a series of qualifications. BFF Canada has a partnership with regulated immigration consultants, who also live here in Canada and can help you from evaluating your immigration profile to applying your process with Canadian immigration. Can I go to Canada just for tourism?

Yes! Canada is a beautiful country and receives thousands of tourists every year. We can help you with this too, as Canada requires a tourist visa for Brazilian citizens.
